Albuquerque, NM – May 13, 2015 – Equality New Mexico has created a one-stop shop for the LGBT community with a revamped website and an updated business directory, featuring LGBT-friendly businesses across the state of New Mexico. The site, eqnm.org, provides site visitors a wealth of resources for getting involved, finding allies in the business community, or getting connected with social and political issues facing the LGBT community.
“We’re thrilled with our new site,” said Amber Royster, Executive Director for EQNM. “It now functions as a one-stop, mobile-friendly resource for all interested in getting involved in our work and staying up to date with events. It’s also encouraging to see our newly updated business directory with hundreds of supporting businesses.”
The directory, which features LGBT-friendly businesses, can be found at http://bit.ly/EQNMF-Businesses. EQNM’s new website also features in-depth information on the organization’s initiatives, such as the New Mexico Safe Schools Initiative and Immigrant Advocacy project, as well as resources for health care, laws and regulations, and addressing discrimination.
